Manufacturing
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Manufacturing is the production of goods through the use of labor, machines, tools, and chemical or biological processing or formulation. It is the essence of secondary sector of the economy. The term may refer to a range of human activity, from handicraft to high-tech, but it is most commonly applied to industrial design, in which raw materials from the primary sector are transformed into finished goods on a large scale. Such goods may be sold to other manufacturers for the production of other more complex products (such as aircraft, household appliances, furniture, sports equipment or automobiles), or distributed via the tertiary industry to end users and consumers (usually through wholesalers, who in turn sell to retailers, who then sell them to individual customers). Manufacturing engineering, or the manufacturing process, are the steps through which raw materials are transformed into a final product.

Plastic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Plastics are a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic materials, that use polymers as a main ingredient. The plasticity during production makes it possible for plastic to be moulded, extruded or pressed into solid objects of various shapes, making it an adaptable material for many different uses. This adaptability, plus a wide range of beneficial properties, such as being light weight, durable and flexible, alongside cheap production processes has led to widespread adoption in contemporary society. Plastics typically are made through human industrial systems. Most modern plastics are derived from fossil fuel based petrochemicals like natural gas or petroleum; however, recent industrial methods use variants made from renewable materials such as derivatives of corn or cotton.Plastics have many uses throughout society.

Wholesaling is the selling of merchandise to anyone either a person or an organization other than the end consumer of that merchandise. According to the United Nations Statistics Division, wholesale is the resale (sale without transformation) of new and used goods to retailers, to industrial, commercial, institutional or professional users, or to other wholesalers, or involves acting as an agent or broker in buying merchandise for, or selling merchandise to, such persons or companies. Wholesalers frequently physically assemble, sort and grade goods in large lots, break bulk, repack and redistribute in smaller lots.
